D09-Liquid Metal Materials
Symposium Introduction
The “Liquid Metal Materials” symposium centers around the latest advancements, properties, and applications of liquid metals. It aims to bring together leading researchers, engineers, and industry professionals to discuss the unique characteristics of liquid metals, such as their high electrical and thermal conductivity, excellent fluidity, and remarkable plasticity.
Objectives
Knowledge Exchange: Facilitate the exchange of cutting - edge research findings and practical experiences related to liquid metals. By sharing knowledge, participants can gain a deeper understanding of the current state - of - the - art in the field.
Networking: Provide a platform for professionals from academia and industry to build connections. This networking opportunity can lead to potential collaborations, joint research projects, and the commercialization of liquid - metal - related technologies.
Inspiration for Innovation: Stimulate innovative thinking by exposing attendees to diverse perspectives on liquid metals. This may inspire new ideas for the development of novel materials, devices, and manufacturing processes.
Content and Agenda
The symposium will feature a series of keynote speeches delivered by renowned experts in the field. These speeches will cover topics like the fundamental research of liquid metals, their applications in electronics (such as flexible circuits), energy (e.g., advanced batteries), and biomedicine (e.g., drug delivery systems). In addition, there will be technical sessions with in-depth presentations, panel discussions, and poster sessions, allowing participants to actively engage in the exchange of ideas.
Expected Outcomes
The symposium will not only promote the development of liquid-metal-related technologies but also raise awareness of the potential of liquid metals in various industries. By the end of the event, participants will have a broader vision of the future of liquid metals, and new partnerships and research directions may emerge.
Symposium Topics
1. Liquid metal-elastomer science and technology
2. Phase change science and engineering of gallium-based liquid metal
3. Design of liquid metal related materials and systems
