Symposium Introduction
Materials design is a cornerstone of materials science, enabling the fabrication and optimization of materials with good performance, such as enhanced mechanical properties and catalytic efficiency. Among the essential knowledge in this field, the theory of thermodynamics and kinetics are particularly significant, providing the foundation for predicting, controlling, and tailoring microstructures and material properties. Understanding these principles allows scientists and engineers to develop materials with exceptional mechanical performance and functionality.
The international conference Materials Design by Thermodynamics and Kinetics aims to bring together international scientists and engineers to discuss how these core scientific principles are transforming the landscape of materials science. This event will serve as a platform for exchanging ideas and discussing the latest advancements in theory, experimental methods, computational modeling, real-world applications, and addressing relevant technical challenges, within the framework of thermodynamics and kinetics.
